"I worked hard to give the images a real 'tattoo feel' by using only analog methods and traditional materials like Indian ink," says Emiel. “Since becoming a father, I’ve wanted to write a story that conveys my love of tattooing to my daughter, and I’m very happy to finally be able to share it with everyone.”
About the Author
Emiel Steenhuizen has been a tattoo artist for over a decade and a half and works in various well-known studios in Amsterdam. He draws inspiration from a variety of sources, including European folk art and traditional tribal styles.
