This 18-needle Round Shader longbar is built for the largest round shader coverage, such as backgrounds in old-school pieces. At 0.30 mm (US 10) you get the standard gauge, balancing precision and ink flow.

Soldered round and open, it gets into corners where no magnum fits. The longbar goes into your coil machine via grip and tube. A long taper (LT) means the tip runs out long, which helps with precise work.

What are longbar needles?

Longbar needles, also called long bar needles or needles on bar, are tattoo needles soldered onto a long needle bar. Unlike cartridges there is no plastic housing: the needle goes straight into your coil machine via grip and tube. Many traditional artists swear by this setup because they can tune their coil and needle precisely to their style. Hand-poke artists like using longbars as well.
