Round Liner 4001 Long Taper

Magic Moon Longbar Tattoo Needle 4001 Round Liner – 0.40 mm, long taper, 50 pieces

It doesn't get thicker with us: 0.40 mm needles for solid traditional lines. This longbar 4001 is designed for hairline work, micro tattoos and dotwork.

Soldered in a cone, the needles form a closed point for crisply defined lines. Its long taper runs out slim and releases ink in a controlled way. Made from 304 stainless steel with lead-free solder, it sits on the classic long needle bar.

What are longbar needles?

Longbar needles, also called long bar needles or needles on bar, are tattoo needles soldered onto a long needle bar. Unlike cartridges there is no plastic housing: the needle goes straight into your coil machine via grip and tube. Many traditional artists swear by this setup because they can tune their coil and needle precisely to their style. Hand-poke artists like using longbars as well. Magic Moon longbars are made from 304 stainless steel, soldered lead-free and EO-sterilised. If your machine runs cartridges, you'll find the same configurations in our Magic Moon Cartridges.
