Typical work for the 9-needle Straight Round Liner Biodegradable Cartridge: thick outlines for traditional work and weighty lettering. 0.35 mm needles carry more ink, which saves passes.

Unlike a round liner, the needles don't taper together but stay open. You get wider lines from the same needle count. Taper-wise you get the long version here, with fine control over every stroke. On this cartridge, the biodegradable parts are housing and back cap, not needle and membrane.

What exactly is biodegradable about the Biodegradable Cartridge?

Housing and back cap are the biodegradable parts: both are plastic-free. Needle, needle bar including push bar and membrane are not biodegradable and go into the sharps container after tattooing, as usual. Compared with our standard cartridges, that saves around 98 % plastic per cartridge. On top of that come paper blisters instead of plastic ones and packaging without lacquers or acrylic.
